How to Join

The Friends of Kyrgyzstan organization has no restrictions on its membership, but we do encourage active participation by all our members in discussions and projects.

There are two levels of membership: members and subscribers

Members

To be a member of Friends of Kyrgyzstan you must join the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) because we are an affiliate group of the NPCA.

As an NPCA member you will receive information on the annual conference and the informative quarterly WorldView magazine. You are also supporting the many projects and advocacy efforts of the NPCA.

By joining NPCA and choosing Friends of Kyrgyzstan as your affiliate group, you are supporting Friends of Kyrgyzstan. For every NPCA member who chooses the Friends of Kyrgyzstan as their affiliate group, this group receives fifteen dollars. This money goes to support the website, newsletter, and projects. In addition, being a full member makes you eligible to run for a Friends of Kyrgyzstan board position.

Join the NPCA, choose Friends of Kyrgyzstan as your affiliate group, and you will automatically be added to our list of members. In addition, you may choose to be added to the Yahoo Groups listserve by following the instructions below for Subscribers. If you have any questions, contact us.

Subscribers

Interested parties that don't want to join NPCA and become a full member of the Friends of Kyrgyzstan can participate as a subscriber. Subscribers will receive updates and news from the Yahoo Groups listserve and can access the forum on this website.
