Forum

The forum allows people to communicate and find information in a more organized way than listserve or email messages can. Through various forum categories and boards, returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs), active PCVs, incoming PCVs, and visitors to Kyrgyzstan each have their space to interact and ask questions for the appropriate audience.

Anyone may read forum postings, but you must register at the forum to start a topic or reply to a topic.

Unfortunately, you must register with the forum even if you have already registered at the photo gallery. We apologize for the inconvenience. Volunteer if you would like to help improve this website.

Note that you may send a private message (a la email) to other registered forum members by clicking on their forum id and choosing "Send this member a private message."

We are working on incorporating more advanced features, such as instant messaging, polling, a calendar, and maps. Stay tuned.

Forum Guidelines

Try to keep the messages positive.
Scan through the appropriate forum board first before posting a question. You might not be the first to have that question. Use the search capability within the forum if you don't find something related to your question at first glance.
Flaming, foul language, spamming, and privacy invasion will not be tolerated. Please report a problem by contacting us or by sending a private message to the Forum Admin within the forum.
Violators of forum guidelines may have their topics removed and/or be banned from the forum.

You may suggest additional boards or a revised board structure within the forum by contacting us.
